Encrypted traffic (IPsec, OpenVPN) pushes weak CPUs to their limit, causing instability and packet loss.
No SFP+ ports
Without fibre, speed stops at 1Gbps — not enough for customers who need a 10G backbone.

Proprietary firmware limits flexibility; the provider wants the freedom to run pfSense or OPNsense.
No fail-safe
