Why office PCs do not survive on a Gulf production floor
A production floor in Jubail, Jebel Ali or 10th of Ramadan City is hard on standard hardware. Fine sand, metal dust, vibration and cabinets that reach well above 45°C in summer are the usual causes of unplanned stops — and the fan is almost always the first thing to fail.
IWILL industrial PCs remove that weakest link. A passively cooled aluminium chassis acts as the heatsink, so nothing draws dust into the electronics. Combined with industrial-grade components and the legacy serial I/O plant equipment still depends on, they keep SCADA servers, line HMIs and machine controllers running between maintenance windows.

No fan and no vents means sand, metal particles and oil mist stay outside the chassis — the main reason these units outlast desktop PCs by years.
Connectivity for automation
Up to six COM ports (RS-232/422/485) for Modbus RTU links to PLCs, scanners and sensors, plus multiple LAN ports for Modbus TCP, OPC UA and a separate plant network.
Wide temperature range
Industrial models are specified from -20°C to +60°C with industrial SSD. In Gulf summers we size the cabinet and mounting with you so the unit stays inside that envelope.
Watchdog and auto power-on
A hardware watchdog restarts a hung system, and auto power-on brings the unit back after a power cut — essential at unmanned pumping stations and remote skids.

IWILL industrial PCs are not certified for explosive atmospheres (ATEX/IECEx Zone 1 or 2). For classified areas in oil and gas facilities, the computer must sit in a safe area or inside a certified purged enclosure — tell us the area classification and we will advise.
Frequently asked questions
What hardware does an industrial automation system need?
A typical system has PLCs, sensors and actuators connected to an industrial PC running the SCADA or HMI software. That PC should be fanless, have RS-232/485 for Modbus RTU and Ethernet for Modbus TCP or OPC UA, and be rated for 24/7 operation across the temperatures in your cabinet.
Are IWILL computers suitable for 24/7 operation?
Yes. The industrial models are designed and burn-in tested at our factory for continuous operation under full load.
Can I run Windows IoT or Linux?
Yes. The hardware supports Windows 10/11 Pro, Windows IoT Enterprise and the common industrial Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and Debian. Arabic HMI projects run on either.
Do you offer DIN-rail or VESA mounting?
Most models ship with, or can take, wall-mount, VESA and DIN-rail kits so the PC can sit in the control panel next to the PLC.
Can we test a unit before a rollout?
Yes. For projects with a rollout across several lines or sites we recommend a pilot with one or two units, after which we fix the final configuration.
